Solid car, near original, not much rust. The missing headlight bezel pieces come with the car, did not have them when I took pics. A real strong candidate for a full restoration if you are a collector, or a great place to start if you are just looking to fix, paint, and drive. Nearly original. Last inspected/driven in 1991, stored inside in heated garage since then. I bought it recently and was looking to work on it next spring, but my situation has changed and I need to sell it. 85,595 original miles. I spent a little time working on it, and it seems to run quite well, but I have not driven it any distance. Does not make any nasty noises and seems to have good power. (Before we get on to the main event, if any of you have a late model windshield and/or a HS-2 carb dashpot to sell, let me know, I am looking for those two items.) Heres what I can tell you after giving it a look over: Looks like it still has original paint, so you know it has not been re-done before. floors solid, no rust except for very small patch in driver's side front inner and outer rockers solid except for small heavy "bubble" rust spots on rear of both rockers. Not through, but will be if sand blasted. passengers side rear quarter panel has had some body work done to it no rust in trunk, but it has some dents and pushed in areas, mostly from a hideous Walker muffler that was installed in the car hood very solid, no rust. front valences have rust through on inside wall only. frame in excellent condition bumpers will need replaced one or more of the side markers was recently replaced, good rubber some minor butchery going on with wiring, has an alternator with internal regulator in place alternator and external regulator. Alternator is not connected. Has an elecric fuel pump in place of mechanical fuel pump. carpet has a lot of sand on it (looks like someone broke open a bag of play sand and did not get it cleaned up), but is in good condition and can be used "as is" with a little clean up. Good quality with sewn edges. Missing the flat piece across the back where the radius arms tie in to the body and on the left hand and right hand front sides. Seats need re-covered, and new side bolsters, but are in pretty good condition. Door panels can be used "as is". Dash board needs a little attention, choke cable hole is a bit rough. Missing under dash trim piece. Dash top can be used "as is", but does have a crack coming off the outer corner of the LH heater vent and a dent just above the steering wheel. Passengers side rear vertical link will need to be replaced, hole egged out. I can supply one as a spare. Brakes all came up, but master cylinder seals in front chamber need replaced. Clutch came up and hold pressure. the folding top frame is there and in good condition, retracts and extends smoothly, one screw lose Buyer to arrange shipment. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
