Up for auction is an all ORIGINAL, TRUE SURVIVOR and TIME CAPSULE L320 Datsun pickup truck!! This always California owned, original 'blue plate', matching numbers truck has just 29,119 original miles and what I am convinced is still original paint! With just 2000 made for the US market, you will not find a cleaner and more original RUST FREE example. From the pictures, you will see that everything is intact and original including the motor, interior, emblems, stock wheels, tools and even the carpet. Make no mistake....this time capsule still has the original windows (front, rear and side) with no chips, a very straight body with no accidents and original keys! This car has seen very little sunlight! The interior has been preserved and is free from cracks on the dash and tears on the seats. This L320 has been garaged indoors for almost all its life and was primarily used as a spare truck. On many occasions, I was tempted to do a restoration but figured that keeping her original would enhance its character even more. Guaranteed to attract attention everywhere it goes! Although currently in Non-Op, I start and drive her around the block regularly to keep the seals from drying. For the true collector, this truck needs nothing except for perhaps a fluid change and a carburetor tune up.....otherwise she drives as good as she looks. A perfect candidate to take to classic car shows to show for originality. Lack of garage space forces me to sell. Rather than see her parked outside in the sun, I would rather see her go to someone that appreciates these rare and fragile trucks. Otherwise, its one of those trucks you keep forever. As a Datsun collector myself, even I have never seen an opportunity come up like this. I have tried to take as many and detailed pictures as possible to expose ABSOLUTELY everything you need to see in this truck.
