A modern-day barn find!... 1926 Ford Model T Touring Sedan Chassis No. 12575205 Production Date: October 1925 The Ford Model T (colloquially known as the Tin Lizzie, Flivver, T-Model Ford, or T) was produced by Henry Ford's Ford Motor Company from 1908 through 1927. It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that opened travel to the common middle-class American; some of this was because of Ford's innovations, including assembly line production with completely interchangeable parts. This automobile was found as part of an Estate Sale in Oregon. The sedan was held for 30 years by the previous owner Mr. Ross, who fully restored the vehicle some time ago. The body remains all steel as it was built originally, so rust is not an issue. As one of his Joys in Life, the car was constantly maintained and well cared for. After Mr. Ross’ passing, the sedan was stored for many years on the farm in Oregon until the heirs decided its fate. Recently rediscovered, this modern-day barn find was pulled from its long resting spot and was revived back to its former glory. The auto has been inspected, tested, and driven on Houston streets with a clean report by a local antique auto specialty shop.
