1958 Ford Ranchero wagon - body in good condition - ready to restore! Comes with two extra doors and patch panels for rusted areas We purchased this vehicle from a local repair shop that had more work than they could handle. They had begun the restoration process by getting the suspension bolts loosened but ran out of initiative shortly after that. This is a rare car! Unfortunately, we have run out of finances to restore it, as well. I've seen these fixed up and they make a great ride! The title was most recently in California. The engine size is unknown nor do we know if it works. Everything was pretty much apart for restoration when we obtained it. 11/25/10 - We went and looked at the car and took more pictures, as you can see. It appears that the rust is primarily surface rust and most of it is on the bottom panels below the doors. Some is rusted through but we have the sheet metal to cover those and it comes with the car. The bed has some surface rust but we weren't able to get pictures as it is backed up to a downward slope and we couldn't get back behind it. It doesn't appear that there is power steering or brakes and the engine is an 8 cyl., not a 6. It has had a disc brake conversion on the front wheels, though. The wheel wells themselves are in good condition and not dented. There is a hole cut into the floor in the cab just over the transmission and I don't believe the shop we bought it from gave us the panels for that. The floors, however, only have surface rust and are not rusted through. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. This vehicle is currently at a storage facility for $38/mo.
