Up for grabs is a pretty nice Jeep CJ5. This jeep is all original and runs really well. The four wheel drive works good and it is alot of fun to drive! It has the V-6 engine with a manual transmission and transfer case. The paint is pretty good but not show quality. The body is very good for a jeep. Especially one of this age. There is no rust to speak of. The only spots I could find are two little spots just starting around the tailgate at the rear of the tub. And a small spot just starting at the bottom edge of the tub on the drivers side. All rust is smaller than a baseball and not all the way through. The floors are in excellent shape with no rust. Just surface scale from the paint being worn off in spots. The seats will need some new covers as they are torn in spots. The Jeep has alot of add on stuff. It is set up for being towed with a tow bar on the front bumper and wired for lights. It has a winch mount on the front bumper as well. It is also equipped with a hand type throttle lever on the dash. This can be locked in position at a certain speed to allow you to crawl over those off road obstacles with ease and still be able to work the pedals easily. As you can see in the pics it comes with a metal top and metal full doors. I can't find a tag on the top but I am told it is made by koening iron works. The passenger side door glass is craked and will need replaced. Overall this is a good driver Jeep. It is not a show car and will need some work to be "perfect". I got this jeep in a collection that I bought and do not want it. I had to buy the whole collection to get the jeep that I wanted. That is why this one is being sold so cheap. I have driven this jeep around town a little and it runs and drives very well. I just don't have room for it. Make a reasonable offer and it will be yours!
