1968 Pontiac Firebird with a 400 V8, Muncie 4 speed transmission, 383 rear end with welded differential. It is not a original 400 car. It had a 350 in it from the factory but when I purchased the car the 400 had already been installed. The car RUNS GREAT! It has plenty of power for a great driving experience! The frame is in EXCELLENT condition! Floors are all solid as well as the trunk pan. Body is overall in good shape. It has a couple bubbled spots that are starting to come through and needs some minor body work before it would be painted. Doors are solid, no sagging. All original glass to my knowledge. Interior is all original as well. Seats could use a recovering and the gauge cluster you see in the pictures in obviously aftermarket but I do have the original. Mileage is unknown. Since I've owned the car which has only been about 5 months I've done a quick tune up...new plugs, new wires, new battery, new alternator, new water pump, new steering box, oil change etc. Tires are in decent shape. The only thing the car might need is a steering column bearing which are about $75 tops. It doesnt effect the driving of the car but you can hear some noise coming from that area. Its definitely in need of some work to make it "show worthy" but overall the car is fun to drive and turns heads for sure! I just don't have the time to put into the car unfortunately.
