Vehicle Detail

Photos don't do it justice, it is nice and shiny!!! Very Sharp!! A good solid old truck. It gets lots of compliments! And its the real deal an original black Ranger Lariat heavy half F150 4X4 all numbers matching. You dont see them in this good of condition with the Lariat trim package very often anymore. Nice old driver, not a show truck but in good shape. Just got it back from having some body work done, had some dings and the rust bubbles fixed (not a rust bucket these fords are prone to bubble on bottom of doors and above rear tires, its very solid and clean undercairage and all) and a new front bumper. Rear bumper is fair, the rest of the chrome is good shape.Dual limited slip rear ends with locking front hubs, unsure of gear ratio but fairly low and it is great in the snow and mud. I had to pull a friends landcruiser out of the mud, and I was in the same mud, he no longer brags about his landcruiser to me. Runs on Propane $2.59 a gallon. any place that fills your BBQ tank can fuel it up. It can be converted back to gas fairly easily but hasnt had gas in the tanks in 10 years so probably needs new tanks, otherwise flip the switch and fill her up with gas. The 400M motor and C6 trans were rebuilt when I got it and has around 50k on them, engine 400M was built especially for propane conversion, which is better than a regular rebuild, guides, seats etc.. Propane runs unbelievably clean and the engine holds great oil pressure and the oil is still thick and clean at change time and that is why I decided to never run it on gas. The motor is nice and tight and runs great. I have had it in pretty cold temps and it starts right up, easier then any of the gas ones I have owned. It drives real well for its age, I run it down the freeway in the fast lane at up to 80 sometimes and it doesn't shake or shimmy. It has had things replaced as neccessary, so everything is fair or better. I have owned it 9 years and used it as a homeowner pickup, I have done the brakes replaced the exhaust kept the oil changed etc. It has dual exhaust with glasspacks and sounds good. Panasonic basic Cd with Rockford Fosgates in the doors and is wired for speakers behind the seat. If you want a good looking old driver or want a special one to cherry out this is your rig if you like these old Fords this one has potential to be super nice. Truck is up for sale locally so I reserve the right to pull the listing at anytime. Call Randy at 360-420-4422 Presently parked at College Way foods corner of Laventure and College Way Mt. Vernon Wa. Don't be afraid of Propane, it makes the engine run cleaner and last longer I have driven it for 9 years with no problems, and Propane dealers negotiate. It gets about the same MPG as it would with gas. It has a minor crack in the windshield that doesn't block drivers view. Door panels are pulled loose here and there and a trim piece is missing on the passenger panel, new Black panels are $99. a pair and easy to get on Ebay. Put new clips in the old ones and they aren't that bad, the Lariat panels are a little nicer then stock black so I didn't replace them. Gas tanks haven't had gas in them for along time so may need replaced. New tanks are easy to get and not that expensive. It runs so well on propane and the engine will last longer, they forfeit a little power but I have owned a couple of these and it doesn't seem much if any different, It towed my boat and it gets down the road just fine. Unsure of actual mileage odometer reads 57000+/- so at least 157000 and I think that is what it is it doesn't get driven much.
