You are bidding on a suburban owned, 1997 Mazda Miata MX-5 convertible in Montego Blue with a tan leather interior. This non-smoker vehicle has 114,850 miles, and is factory original minus the addition of the like new Chaparral Wheels, Frenzy Style Bar, and Valeo wiper blades. The heater blows hot, and the air conditioner keeps the cabin cold on the warmest of days. Lights, wipers, switches, convertible top, original Pioneer CD cassette stereo, cruise control, remote trunk/gas, parking brake, etc. work as intended. This Miata was originally from California, and is free of rust damage. It has not been driven in snow or exposed to salt. When not being driven, it has been stored under a cover/garaged. The convertible is equipped with a manual transmission, limited slip differential, and 4 fresh Kumho Ecsta AST tires. The exterior of the car is in great shape. There are minor dings and scratches, but no major dents, rust, etc. The peppy engine runs great, and the transmission shifts smoothly, due to a recent service where all spark plugs, plug wires, and filters, were replaced with Mazda parts. During my years of possession, only Mobile 1 oil was used, and the car didn't require any additional fluids between services. Also, the car brakes with confidence as a recent brake service replaced all 4 pads and rotors. The interior is in excellent condition, showing very few signs of use. The convertible top opens, closes, latches as appropriate, and does not leak. The Miata does not shake or shimmy on the highway at speed or during braking, and the handeling and steering is tight and nimble. The clutch engages as it effortlessly should, and the gear changes are smooth. This is a no reserve auction that will sell to the highest bidder.
