1984 Honda Big Red

This is for pick-up only or buyer can have it shipped to them. I do NOT have a title for this 3-wheeler. I will provide a bill of sale and can even go as far as having a notarized bill of sale if needed. Up for bids is an original 1984 Honda 200 ES Big Red. It is the most popular hunting/farming 3 wheeler ever made. This has electric start, shaft drive, 5 speed automatic transmission with high/low range and reverse. It has a shock suspension system, cargo type racks and can tow 700 lbs. Starts instantly. All gears and ranges work as they should. The tires look to be in good shape. The brakes work fine and the paint is the original. The gas tank doesn’t leak. My son bought it from an 80+ year old farmer (who said it had never been wrecked) and planned to fix it up but ended up moving away for his job. The 3 wheeler sat in my shed until he said I could sell it for him. I am a 60+ female who knows little about repairing anything so I paid to have a new carburetor kit installed and a new air filter and had the oil changed. I also put on a new battery and spark plug. After I incurred that expense I had a friend ride it up and down the side road at a pretty fast clip. He thought it idled a little fast and probably needs adjusting. I took it to a certified ATV mechanic who gave his opinion that it needed a new gasket for the drain plug on the oil, and probably a couple of gaskets on the pipe that attaches to the muffler, but other than that he didn’t find anything except the tail pipe is rusty. I didn’t want to incur anymore expense so I’ll leave those things for the buyer to fix. If you have more questions please contact me and I will try to find out the answer. I live in southern Illinois about 1 hour from Vincennes, Indiana or about 90 miles from St. Louis, Missouri.
