1968 PONTIAC LEMANS 2 DOOR HARDTOP FACTORY 4 SPEED GREAT CANDIDATE FOR A GTO "TRIBUTE" CAR THIS ONE HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR A WHILE. IT WILL MAKE SOMEONE AN EZ RESTORATION OR WITH A LITTLE TINKERING, JUST A FUN DAILY DRIVER! MECHANICALLY IN GOOD SHAPE. THE BOTTOM END OF THE ENGINE & THE VALVES SOUND FINE. THE PONTIAC V8 RUNS WELL ENOUGH TO LOAD IT ON A TRANSPORT! BUT IT WAS PART OF A PERSONAL COLLECTION & HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR A WHILE. SO I THINK THE CARBURETOR COULD USE SOME WORK, A FRESH TUNEUP WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA & SOME FRESH GAS WOULD HELP A LOT TOO! IT WILL DEFINITELY NEED SOME WORK BEFORE IT IS READY FOR ANY LONG TRIPS. FRONT BUMPER HAS SOME DAMAGE TO THE TOP RIGHT SIDE. IT IS FIXABLE, BUT WOULD BE FAR EASIER & MORE REASONABLE TO JUST FIND A USED ONE IN NICE SHAPE. I WANTED TO BUILD A GTO TRIBUTE CAR & SO I WASN'T TOO WORRIED ABOUT IT. I WAS JUST GOING TO GET A GTO ENDURO NOSE FOR IT ANYWAY. DEFINITELY TIME FOR A FRESH PAINTJOB! HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THESE CAN LOOK LIKE WITH FRESH PAINT?? THEY'RE AWESOME! HERE ARE JUST SOME OF THE POSSIBILITIES! OR RESTORED AS A GTO TRIBUTE CAR: WON'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE IT WHATEVER COLOR DO YOU LIKE! I PERSONALLY WANTED TO GO BLACK, BUT THEY ALL LOOK GOOD! OVERALL THE CAR & FRAME IS SOLID! BUT! ALTHOUGH IT IS FAR FROM TERMINAL, IT DOES NEED SOME RUST REPAIR. THE FLOORBOARDS ARE FIXABLE, BUT WOULD BE SIMPLER TO JUST BUY THE PANELS. THE TRUNK FLOOR NEEDS TO JUST BE REPLACED. YOU CAN BUY THE REPAIR PANELS VERY REASONABLY FOR THIS CAR. THE FLOOR PANELS ARE $90 A SIDE & THE TRUNK FLOOR PANELS ARE $160. IT ALSO NEEDS SOME REPAIR BY THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR CORNER OF THE GTO HOOD & SOME ON BOTH REAR QUARTERS AT THE BOTTOM. BUT ALTHOUGH IT DOES NEED REPAIRS IN SEVERAL AREAS, NONE OF THESE AREAS ARE TERMINAL OR HAVE PROGRESSED BEYOND REPAIR. OVERALL THE CAR IS VERY SOLID. THE SURROUNDING AREAS ARE ALL NICE & SOLID & ALL OF THE AREAS DISCUSSED ARE EZ TO ACCESS. THESE WILL BE SIMPLE FOR A PROFESSIONAL BODYMAN TO CLEAN UP. BUT IF YOU AREN'T ONE & DON'T KNOW ANY, WE CAN CERTAINLY ARRANGE TO HAVE THESE AREAS PROFESSIONALLY REPAIRED FOR YOU AT OUR WHOLESALE COST!! BODY: OVERALL VERY NICE & SOLID. GLASS: WINDSHIELD HAS A ROCKCHIP THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE FIXABLE, ALL OTHER GLASS IS GOOD. IMPORTANT TITLE INFO: The title we have for it is an Oregon "Lost Title" paperwork & it will come with a Bill of Sale as well. This is done when the former title is lost & the former registered owners have signed off on the title documents. This is everything that the new buyer will need in the State of Oregon to transfer the title & get a new title in their name. CENTER CONSOLE IS IN NICE SHAPE FRONT BUCKET SEATS NEEDS UPHOLSTERY WORK, BUT ARE IN OVERALL GOOD SHAPE. CARPETING & HEADLINER WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. BOTH ARE READILY AVAILABLE ONLINE. ON EBAY, ABOUT $75-$135 FOR HEADLINER & $125-$150 FOR CARPETING. REAR SEATS NEED SOME CLEANUP, BUT LOOK SAVEABLE. DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR PANEL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. PASSENGER'S SIDE NEEDS THE CARPETING STRIP REPLACED, BUT OTHERWISE DECENT. BUT YOU CAN BUY BOTH SIDES IN PAIRS PRETTY REASONABLE. VIEW OF THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT. VIEW OF THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR. PONTIAC 350CI V8 RUNS, BUT WILL NEED TLC FROM SITTING AS MENTIONED EARLIER. BUT ENGINE DOES SOUND SOLID. JUST MAINLY WILL NEED FRESHENING UP FROM HAVING BEEN IN STORAGE. GOOD CONDITION. TIRES STEEL RADIALS. CONDITION: 80%+ TREAD ON FRONT 30-40 ON REAR. EXHAUST: THERE & WORKING OK, BUT WILL PROBABLY NEED SOME ATTENTION BEFORE TOO LONG.
