We recently (May 2010) bought this nice old Ford econoline from the original owner. The van was always garage kept and has never seen a winter road. Since then we have put about 3000 miles on it and have really enjoyed the van ...we get many comments and thumbs up!It has the 351 Windsor engine and a c-6 transmission. Wheelbase is 138 " Mechanically speaking there are no issues ,it runs drives and stops as it should . The options list is long with this chateau package! It has a factory stereo amplifier, rear climate controls, dual fuel tanks... even the paint is a special order as well as chrome front grille .The interior is plush and very clean no smells...not smoked in .Four captains chairs and a convertible rear couch/bed make for a-lot of seating options. It is a great layout. The van is also equipped with the trailer special package, with a class V 10,000 lb. reese hitch and an aftermarket dual range auxiliary transmission,manufactured by Doug Nash enterprises .It was installed proffesionally by Ray-Wel automotive in Kokomo IN. in 1988 all receipts for the install are present. The original owner only used it to tow a boat a few times a year. The van is truly like a time capsule.The underside pictures included represent the amazing condition it has been kept in . The chrome is nice and clean.
