Originally from South Carolina has very little rust. This 1970 F100 has had a nice quality older restoration. New Jersey State inspected till April 2012. Never used as a work truck and is roadworthy to drive and enjoy daily. A NICE SOLID 1970 Ford F100 in turn-key ready to drive condition. WARNING - You will get a lot of attention in this truck -it's awesome. The Details and Mechanicals This 1970 Ford F100 has had an older ground-up restoration completed. Runs & sounds great. Under the hood sits an original 302 with 136.5K original miles 2bbl carb Pertronix pointless ignition system and Heddman headers The 3-spd was moved to the floor for that Mustang feel. FlowMaster 40-series custom exhaust BFG tires Custom aluminum rims and Custom horn with hundreds of sounds Rebuilt rear-end with Timken bearings and seals Two inch ball hitch No major rust except for minor surface rust in between the crevice of the bed (easily fixable - see photo), no leaks, strong motor and near perfect interior. Paint is excellent except for drivers side by the gas cap (paint has faded due to gasoline overspill - see photo). There is a small circular crack in the windshield but will not splinter and is hardly noticeable (see photo). There is a slight surface scratch on the right tail panel. (see photo) There is some small pitting that has been fixed on right side front by tire (see photo). A brand new master cylinder has just been installed so brakes are perfect. The truck also comes with a custom fit truck cover (with a few holes in it but it does its job) and seat cover to protect the original upholstery. READ THIS PLEASE BIDDING STARTS AT 500!! Not sure if they ever did in these old trucks but I just thought I would mention this. Also, when I start this truck, like any old car or truck, I pump the gas pedal about 5 to 6 times, turn key and start the engine. I let her warm up for about five minutes and she's ready to roll.
