Vehicle Detail
For sale here is my 1963 Studebaker Lark 2-door. The car is a coupe with a 6-cylinder (Studebaker motor) automatic (2-speed, looks like a Fordomatic). The interior had been removed by the previous owner and is currently piled up inside the car. It appears to be all there except for the package shelf and the trunk panel. The exterior trim is all on the car except for the trunk logo. The grille is in very good shape and the bumpers would be o.k. for a driver. There are some NOS bumper ends and guards in the trunk. The glass is all sound. Mechanically, the car appears to have all it's drive train parts but is not in running condition. I haven't tried to turn it over or start it as I had planned to put in a new motor. The body is about average for a parked Studebaker of it's age. There's rust below the rear window, on the lower edge of the trunk lid, the front hood corners, on the front fenders, bubbles on the doors, rockers and in some spots on the edge of the roof. I have a notarized bill of sale and the title is being held by the state pending it's inspection as a running vehicle. Since the latter will not be happening, the car is being sold as a parts vehicle only, as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. On Nov-18-10 at 05:05:29 PST, seller added the following information: This morning, I've added photos of the dash, interior parts and trunk contents. Please review them. The interior, at some point, had been reupholstered with a tan fabric but some of it has been exposed to moisture and is stained. The box that I thought had the back seat parts actually contains a front fascia (the part that the grille and headlights mount to, essentially the entire nose) so that means that the back seat is missing. The door welting is a bluish-turquoise and has pulled loose on both sides. There are two additional sets of hubcaps, the interior and exterior window trim, backup lights, door and window handles, NOS seat trim, an NOS trunk mat, armrests, and some more miscellaneous trim stuff. The spare tire mount has rusted loose so it will need to be reattached. Should bidders wish to retract their bids due to the missing items, that is acceptable with me.
