THIS SV650 IS A BIKE FROM PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE that they have stated as "VANDALISM " [ possibly a theft recovery as locks were damaged. What sometimes happens is the bike gets recovered after the Insurance company has settled with the owner . The title then becomes salvage .We recommend the new owner print this info and keep with their records as if bike is resold at later date - this documentation proves its history . Bike has a few surface scratches scratches located on top of solo seat section and on side of tank and a couple other spots which could easily be brush touched up by a hand pinstriper [ see clear/ detailed photos ] . The ignition switch and gas cap locks were damaged. I purchased a complete set of locks- seat lock ,ignition switch complete with top triple tree or easy/clean factory replacement and complete gas cap assy - with two original Suzuki keys from E bay dealer. Perfect install . I also installed a new maintenance free battery . When the battery will not power up the bike , the Insurance company cannot get an odometer reading so the title now states "1" mile - not actual . But when I installed new battery - the odometer read 7756 which in my opinon is actual . . No oil or coolant leaks , bike is mechanically sound . No fork seal leaks . Brakes and tires are good but rear tire is thin . RUNS AND RIDES GREAT - FUEL INJECTED !!!! - RUNS SMOOTH FROM IDLE UP / HOT OR COLD . ENGINE / CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION OPERATE CORRECTLY . No mechanical noise from engine / still nearly a new bike with only 7800 miles - barely broken in . starts immediately , runs strong . Fuel injection correctly adjusts for header. Fluids appear very clean . I believe this model sold new for apprx $6500 plus tax, shipping , title , etc .
