That being said, I have successfully sold over a dozen vehicles on Ebay and fully appreciate the need for full disclosure. Further, as a member of Ebay since 2003 with nearly 700 transactions, I have never been issued a negative feedback. So, please ask any questions you may have. In turn, I will do my very best to answer them. Also, I strongly encourage test drives and mechanical inspection. With that in mind, please read the entire ad and feel free to ask any questions before placing your offer accordingly. Please keep in mind that I will not negotiate the price after the auction ends. That being said, let's get to the FUN part! *IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION OF THE TRUCK BEFORE PRESENTING AN OFFER. **PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PRESENT OFFERS WITHOUT THE RIMS AS WELL !! For your consideration, I have my 1999 GMC YUKON DENALI which I purchased from the original owner in 2006. The original owner was an elderly real estate salesman who babied the truck and used it primarily to take long highway service calls in Pennsylvania. The truck is nicely equipped with a 5.7 Vortec 8 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, BOSE 7 CD player (as well as cassette), COLD AC, heated power leather seats, 18" 2008 Cadillac Escalade factory chrome rims (originally $3000), factory running boards, tow hitch receiver, cruise control, tilt steering, power windows and locks, and excellent tires. I have the clean title (in my name) in hand.Although the truck's engine runs beautifully, and the suspension gives the truck a wonderfully comfortable ride, the transmission is failing. Reverse seldom functions and although the truck will still go forward, the transmission will occasionally slip out of gear. (I wouldn't suggest attempting to drive the truck home.) In addition, as an 11 year old truck and there are a few minor issues that could use attention. Below, I'll do my very best to accurately describe the truck's condition and list any shortcomings. MECHANICAL First, let me say until the transmission went yesterday (November 2nd) I would have driven this truck anywhere. As a matter of fact, I just took the truck to Massachusetts this past weekend. Lucky for me it didn't fail 3 states away ! Anyway, before the transmission failed, I felt a kind of "binding" in the front wheels. And, as luck would have it, I had an appointment to bring the truck to my detailer on Monday. After he finished waxing it, he called me to ask what happened to the transmission. I had no idea what he was talking about! (That being said, I know him well-I know its no fault of his own.) Anyway, aside from that, the truck's engine runs beautifully (and always has since I've owned it), all the gauges and accessories function properly (and display normal readings) and there are no leaks of any note. The AC blows cold and all the options work as they should. The truck even passed inspection this Summer. (For New Yorkers, the sticker is valid until next year.) Also, I just had 2 brand new tires installed this week and the other 2 are in fine shape. Aside from the transmission issue, the ABS light is on. The brakes function well-but you don't feel the typical pulsing when the ABS should engage. Honestly, I don't have time to get to it-and I've found that it really doesn't affect safety or performance to any notable degree. In the past year, my mechanic has he changed the following parts: front differential (with a very low mileage (and costly) unit), both front wheel bearings, both catalytic converters, both front calipers and brake pads, and both ball joints. COSMETIC The truck has never sustained an accident and the original factory gold paint shines beautifully (I just had it professionally waxed on Tuesday). Further, there is no rust visible on the truck. Also, the 18 inch chrome rims are in gorgeous shape. (I bought them from a Cadillac dealership in Arizona (at significant cost) a couple of years back. They were pulled from a 2008 Escalade in the showroom. The owner opted for larger rims so they had never been driven on.) Nevertheless, there is some expected wear typically seen on an 11 year old truck. There are some very minor scratches, scuffs and dings here and there and the passenger sideview mirror is cracked (although the power functions fine.) The leather interior is in decent shape with a few exceptions: There is a small rip in the driver's seat (see pics), both sun visors have loose covers, the center console door clasp is broken and the cup holder behind the console is broken. Also, the rug in the rear cargo area is stained-but I just ordered a custom fit rubber mat to cover it before the auction ends. That's about it. I have the clean title in hand (in my name) and accept Paypal for deposit only. The balance can be paid with cash, money order or certified check only. A (NON REFUNDABLE) $250 deposit is due within 48 hours and the balance must be paid within 7 days from auction's completion. If you cannot abide by these terms, please refrain from bidding. Ebay ads are expensive and costly and time consuming. Please, let's keep it fun for everyone. LOCATION: The truck is parked at my place of business on Staten Island. Its located within 15 minutes (or less) of the following bridges: The Verrazzano, The Outerbridge, The Bayonne and the Goethals. Shipping is the responsibility of the bidder. Although the truck must be paid in full within 7 days, the winning bidder will have up to 21 days to arrange pickup/shipping. Thanks for your interest and God bless !
