1985 Mercedes 300 Turbo Diesel in really great condition. LOW MILES just over 111K and as you can see from the pictures the mileage matches the condition of the interior. (see pics of the title showing actual mileage) The exterior is Burghandy and in great condition and the interior is a dark tan leather in great shape. Paint in good shape and trim and emblems in great shape. I dont see any rust and crawled under car and dont see rust either. Previous owner registered in Arizona but dont know if in Arizona most of its life. Although the car looks like a million bucks from a few feet away it is not without flaws. I will list what I know about car both positive and negative and represent the car as best as I can. Feel free to call 8O1647IOI2 for any questions or anything (I can get a transport price also if needed-probably 500 west coast and 800 east coast-just fly in and road trip it) I do not know much about the early history of the car but car has spent time in Utah and Arizona I know and at some point in its life looks to have had 1 paint job and they did a pretty good job (not a $4000 paint job but actually looks really good). There are a few little paint flaws you can see if u look up close. Here are some other negatives... for some reason the muffler is missing and will need a muffler..when a previous owner was putting on very expensive Michelin wipers he let the wiper arm slip and hit the windshield and cracked it pretty good so could use a windshield..it does not have the original wheels and hubcaps (I was told the burghandy hubcaps go to another model of mercedes but I think they look good (on the one side they are on:)).. Carpets due for a shampoo. And last but not least, as with all of these diesels it leaves a drip of oil under the car as they all do but not enough to really lose much oil over the course of a few months. I would guess every few months it may need a tiny add if that. The positives are that almost everything works (I cant think of anything that I've found that doesn't but to be safe I'm saying almost). No dash cracks. Even the heat, A/C, and the vacuum to lock/unlock the doors works well when most dont work I've heard. There is an updated CD player in the car that works well, it has cruise, sunroof works perfectly, all windows work, has tons of power. Car recently went from Arizona to Utah to Minnesota and back and gets great gas mileage. I would be comfortable driving this car anywhere in the US and I would pick up from airport if necessary if the winner wanted to fly in and drive home. Recently changed oil, new filter, and have a spare good filter in trunk( dont use the cheap fram filters, use a good one that work better). Car looks to have been really well taken care of. Tranny shifts the way it is suppose to, tires have great tread, doesn't appear to have been in any real accidents. Overall it looks great and drives great but it still is a 25 year old car. A couple questions people have had, I had the car running when I took pics of the tach and there is a little quirk where when you start it you have to turn back the key about 10% and the tach etc. goes back to normal. I dont hink I turned the key back so the tach read high. I have a friend there in Salt lake that will show anyone the car and drive it.
