Up for auction is this 1948 Studebaker 3/4 ton pickup. It comes with a clear Nebraska title. The previous owner has installed a studebaker V8 engine with a 3 speed tranny, colume shift. Starts and runs good and runs cool. The starter doesn't always kick in though. The brakes will work if you pump them up, but will need some attention. The speedometer and gauges all work and the odometer shows 60253. The body is fairly straight and solid with a little rust just starting to show in the bottom of doors and fenders as can be seen in the pitures. The drivers step is rusty but is repairable, and the drivers floor pan has a little hole of rust about the size of a half dollar. The rear fenders are a little rougher but are useable. No endgate, all the glass needs replaced. The old cloth wiring is bad but is still working. The frame has been cut off in the front and in the rear that can be seen in the pitures, but could be fixed. I also have a parts pickup that has a good frame and other usable parts that could be bought reasonably if interested. Pickup will need to be trailered. This pickup has a good look to it and already has a hot rod start to it. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangments. A $400.00 deposit in paypal at auction end and the rest in cash when picked up. This pickup can sit here for a while if arrangments have been made with me. This pickup is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early.
