This is a custom chopped 1951 Ford shoe box that began it's life as a 2 door post sedan. This cool lead sled has been chopped a low 8 1/2" and has shaved drip rails, and frenched headlights. Door posts have been removed for a very old skool style hardtop look topped off with a rare Desoto grille.Very rare set of 1955 police red and blue spot lights. Pin stripped throughout by San Diego artist Shaun "Snax" Fidei of Sib's Hot Rods. Flat platinum paint on a rust free body. Interior features a new ididit steering column, factory seats and door panels done in vinyl in rat rod style. No side window glass. Smooth flat headliner. Suspension has front bags, new drive line. New floors, solid trunk and a 8 gallon gas tank. Working headlights, tail and brake lights. Speedo, oil water temp gauges working also. Bumpers are straight but could be re-chromed if desired. Powered by a newly rebuilt 4 bolt main Chevy 350 with RV cam, chrome valve covers and oil pan. Turbo 350 auto tranny with B&N slapstick shifter. Power train includes a very nice butterfly air scoop, new starter, battery and alternator. Frenched in lakes pipes exhaust system along lower rocker make them blend beautifully into the natural body lines. This is a cool old Skool lead sled that is ready to cruise right now or continue on and complete further for the show circuit! This ride was sitting on a farm in Idaho since 1963 before this amazing transformation into one of the coolest one of a kind sledded shoe boxes you will ever see. I have a clear 1951 shoe box title that will go with this sale, it is not for this particular car but is a good head start on obtaining one.
