Must sell this Volvo V 70 wagon. I'm listing this vehicle for a friend. She had purchased the vehicle only a few months before it was hit on the driver's side. The vehicle was replaced rather than repaired. The title is still clear and is NOT a salvage title. It was properly serviced and equiped by a professional Volvo shop prior to her using it. You can tell from the photos that there was nothing wrong with the car including the almost new tires prior to the impact. Barely even a door ding. The car is for sale as a parts or project vehicle and while it can be driven to move it around it CAN NOT be driven on public streets legally. This is not a driver. The winning bidder will need to make arrangements for a tow service or flat bed to pick it up. We will help with loading but will not be participating in freight, shipping, packaging or the sourcing of these. We will assist in any practical way to help the buyer arrange for pick up. We have a local bid of $300.00 by a local salvage company but feel the car should be worth much more due to the quality and condition of the engine, transmission, and interior. All the parts on this car are still good and very usable EXCEPT: the driver's door and all connected parts, roof, sunroof, b-pillar, driver's rear door and all connected parts, driver's side floor, driver's seat frame, C-pillar, and dog-bone of the driver's side quarter panel. There may be some other small parts unusable in that area such as seat belts etc.. The airags and the SRS system is in tact and in place with no deployment. The dash is great with no age cracking. The tan leather interior was well cared for and is still usable. The photos of the instrument cluster show the mileage but they also show the operating temperature and condition with the engine running. It idles perfectly and the transmission seems to shift well also. It was driven away from the accident scene. The car is covered and will remain so untill purchased. Shipping: we will not arrange or partcipate in shipping beyond our cooperation with the winning bidder and their shipper. Payment: We require a $300.00 deposit/partial payment within 24 hours of the close of the auction or buy-it-now. The $300.00 can be sent overnight by cashiers check or money order but must clear before the vehicle will be released. We prefer the $300.00 by pay-pal.
