Vehicle Detail
up for auction is a 1972 honda cl350 scrambler.i did some work for a guy and got this bike as partial payment.i have since then rebuilt and synchronized the carbs i also installed a new battery and a new clutch. this bike runs and drives like a new one.all the lights work turn signals head light (hi & lo beam) the horn also works just like new.it was once owned by a company that parks cars for the indianapolis motor speedway (indy 500).and has hardly ever been on the road or even been washed.so it does have some rust here and there.it had a brand new set of dirt bike knobby tires on the original (rusty) rims and i traded them out for this nicer set off a 1971 cl350 scrambler parts bike i bought at a swap meet.if you want the other set also i will include them in the auction at no extra charge.i have a clear Indiana title in hand with my name on it.i am an honest man and always tell the truth.so here is all the good and bad about this bike.there is a dent on the right side of the tank (that can be fixed by a paintless dent removal guy very easy) it does not have any side covers for it.the pipes have been repaired with J B weld the seat pan is cracked and the seat cover has a split in it.the ignition, seat lock and fork lock are all the same key,but the fork lock is frozen.it does have real good brakes front and rear with the rear brakes looking like brand new there is no glazing on either set of brakes front or rear.the street tires that are on the bike are old but they are still very useable (for now).like i said this is a very good bike. i am six feet tall and 280lbs. and it will fly with me on it.i am setting my reserve price very low and realistic.i do require a deposit of $200 at auction end and the remaining balance within two weeks whether you pick up the bike by then or not.i live on the southeast side of Indy and envite you to come and look at the bike anytime mon thru fri 9 to 5 i do not want any unhappy bidders or negative feedback so please ask lots of questions before you bid. this is a pick up only item. if you want it shipped it is up to you to arrange that.i will help load it on the truck in front of my place and thats about as far as i can go. i have sold a few bikes here on ebay and have 100% feedback so far and would like to keep it that way.i have taken some good pictures and described this bike to the best of my ability. so bid with confidence that what i say and what you see is what you get, thanks for looking Sid.
