1967 MERCEDES 230Sl Project Car has been sitting for a long time.I do not know much about the history.I was told when I bought It that owner had engine completly rebuilt and started to work on rust and for health reasons had to sell It.I would Imagine If engine needed overhaul that the odometer has to of had rolled over.I have no paperwork to document mileage.I bought It to restore and have not been able to find time. Car starts and runs.I drove It around our side street a few times yesterday.Car seems to be pretty complete.The only thing I see missing Is trim Between tail lights and trunk release. Clutch pedal sticks to floor and has to be pulled back up to release.Has no brakes master cyl. verry hard to push and will not release,Had to loosen lines at master cyl. to release brakes.Wipers did not come on.Horn did not blow.Is hard to start cold.After warmed up car starts fine.Has screw missing on right side top linkage.has torn black vinyl top ,Frame looks good just missing screw. Has rust , I tried to get pictures of all of the rusted areas.Previos owner had started cutting some of the rust out.please look at pictures. 10% Deposit must be made within three days, Full payment must be made within ten days.Car will not be released untill funds clear bank.Buyer to pay all shipping cost and make all shipping arangements.
