This is your opportunity to bid on a well kept barn-fresh find - 1931 Four Door Phaeton. This body style is rarely available for sale. Car has the under carriage and running gear completely restored. A Jasper rebuilt engine and an original Zenith carburetor have been installed in this Phaeton. Vehicle retains its original gas cap. Car runs and has a good original radiator with a beautiful radiator surround and original cap. Tires are good with excellent rims ready for driving. Firewall is uncut and unaltered. Floor boards all seem to be in good shape. Battery cover, shifter & brake cover are all present. Door handles interior and exterior are in relatively good shape. Windshield stanchions are in good shape. Exterior is original black on black. Various places have been painted over to cover surface rust. This car is ready for final restoration of the interior and top. You will need: A new canvas top - this way you get to pick the color. The top bows and hardware are included with the car. The upholstery and pads (Lebarron Bonney) - again you get to choose the color this way. Seat springs are with the vehicle. Windshield - Safety glass is a better for a windshield anyway. Fenders and body need minor bodywork. We have provided the best quality pictures that our camera can produce. Vehicle has been stored inside a building going through restoration for 60 years. It was last licensed in 1950 and has not been licensed or driven on the road since then. It has a clear Indiana title. It has been an enduring work of love by the owner to restore this vehicle.
