Hey, if you want a MOPAR collectible but can't justify the nose bleed prices, well here is a great option for you, it is a 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee clone, it is very authentic clone that was built by the Dodge dealer in Decatur, Alabama in the late 90's and early 00's. Being a Dodge dealer he went to great lengths to make it as correct as possible visually. Most clones start with a smaller motor car and put in a "correct" size engine for what they are cloning, but in this case the dealer started with a "correct 383" motor car. We can carry this a step further it appears to have the original motor by the date codes on the block as noted in the pictures. He strayed on the motor a little to the good side it is bored to approximately 400 cubes and has a little rowdier cam than the stock Bee had. It has factory A/C and an AM-FM radio, the A/C works when charged but loses the Freon after a while and the radio doesn’t play. It has a vinyl roof. All of the decals and stripes are in place as well as the correct hood for a standard Super Bee. It is painted in Green Go with black vinyl interior and black vinyl top. It would take an astute MOPAR guy to catch that it is a clone at a quick glance. You can drive this car and show on the weekends and still get a trophy or plaque most times shown. The exterior is extremely straight and showy, the interior shows some minor wear on the plastic dash pieces and it could use a pair of new sunvisors. It is very straight and very showy and if you had an original Super Bee you wouldn't want to drive it but at this money you can enjoy this neat car, in fact you can enjoy this car more than the "real thing" at these nose bleed Barrett-Jackson prices even on the clones in recent years!
