1966 Mustang convertible. Great color combination!! Complete and Solid. Great project car for the Fall and Winter. All matching numbers original convertible. The outside sheet metal is in super condition. both front fenders are New. The left door is New. The hood is NEW. both rear quarter panels and drops are in great condition. The right door is original and needs some work on the inside bottom.The front frame rails are solid. The left rocker is new and the outside right is good condition, the inner right roker panel might need some work New floor boards on both side-The right side floor has just a few tack weld to hold it in place, and the drivers side is in and welded. The firewalls is good. The seat riser is New. The front end is in great contion the front rails are solid.The original VIN is on the inside left apron. The original door tag comes with the car. The Front torque boxes are new or in great condition. The left rear torque box is very good and the right reat torque box might need a little attention but is ok. The rear rails do have a little rust and can be cleaned up and used as is.. The trunk area is in need of attention at the lip in the gas tank hole is weak and may need to be replaced. The drops are good and the gas tank is fine. The rear deck lid is soild. I have not gotten around to get bumpers or exasht, but those go on last and inexspensive and easy to find. All the original glass is with the car. The front windshield does have a stone chip. All the the door handles and window cranks are included. The headlight buckets are tight with no cracks. There is a NEW front grill and the chrome side finger grilles. The carpet is new as you can see-but there are so black stains on the carpet in a couple of areas because it sat outside the box and something got on it. The car needs to be repainted. The previous owner painted the new hood and new front fenders, but he strayed the paint too thick. The new door is attached as you can see, but need to be gaped just a little better nefore painting. Many of the parts need to be fitted a bit better before repainting becuase the front fender are not completely installed yet.. The Manual convertible top opens fine and closes fine but it.. the canvas is tight but stianed. The plastic back window is gone. The engine is dated correctly and seems be original to the car. It's a 289 2bbl. The engine bay is in great condition. The engine ran fine a few years back and all the parts are there. The engine turns over but needs a tune-up becuase it's been sitting around so long instead of being run. There is no exshast so it would be a bit loud, The automatic transmission also seems original and works fine. The car rolls around very nicely and can be loaded very easily on a flatbed or tow vehicle. All the interior is in the car and pretty much origianl. The wiring is all pretty much in place and original, but I'm no expert on wiring., but it looks all there. It does not look like the dash was ever been removed. The orignal Am radio is in.The dash has not been cut up. You'll need a new dash pad. The seat are all there. You may want to recover them becuase they are the original material. The interior rear quater trim panels are original and in fair condition. The rear seats are great. Overall this is a great car. There is still penty to do to get it to concourse condition, but with so many great original parts and new parts to make it a wonderful investment.
