I am selling my well kept Audi A6 2.8L Quattro. I drive this car minimally, thus low mileage. I live in the city and this has been my weekend car for years. Great for someone who doesnt mind fixing up a car, or who needs parts. You know how much a new Audi costs and this is a steal if you want a car with a great engine that drives like a rocket, and great in winter conditions. This car rocked in Snowmageddon 2010. This car is in good condition but needs work for it to run properly and pass inspection. SOLD AS IS. The tires are new (Winter 2010) with about 1000 miles on them and were balanced and rotated June 2010. This car has the heated seats option on both front seats, anti-theft system, as well as an awesome Bose radio sound system and 6 CD changer deck. Sunroof works beautifully. The interior in this car is in beautiful/very good condition and as no odors and owned by a non-smoker. Exterior has a minor dent near gas cap and several dings on rear bumper due to street parking. Hubcaps are losing some metallic covering. Minor scratches on driver side door trim, and small wavy dent on front driver rim and back driver side rim has a small dent which i show in photos. These are hardly noticeable, but you decide. June 2010 work completed: New front brakes: replaced worn front brake pads and rotors, cleaned and lubricated calipers slides and hardware. September 2010 work completed: New oil pan w/ gasket,oil change. Serpentine belt change, new wiper blades. Additional work needed: The check engine light is on. Diagnostics were conducted with computer scan and found codes for evap system malfunction, performed smoke test and did not find any external leaks. Purge Valve replacement needed. Car is slowly overheating. Mechanic says it is ready for timing belt replacement, water pump, and thermostat replacement. Fan clutch needs replacing.
