Exterior Condition: This sedan has original paint and as you can see from the photos it is in excellent condition. The car has been garaged it’s whole life and it shows. There are the typical imperfections around the headlights and some minor door dings that have been touched up, but the overall impression of the car is outstanding. The exterior rubber and chrome are all in very good condition. All the glass is in great shape. The hub caps are showing a little wear as you can see from the photos, but they still look good. The emblems are shiny and in excellent condition and the grill is in excellent shape. Interior Condition: The Mb Tex is in overall excellent condition. The dash is crack free. The headliner is in excellent shape and the carpet is in fantastic condition. The seats are comfortable and there are no cracks or holes in any of the seats. The door panels are in like new condition as you can see from the photos with the typical shrinkage around the windows. The instrument panel and center console are in excellent condition. The carpet is stain free and in very good condition. As you can see from the photos the interior is pretty impeccable, a testament of the care that was taken by it’s owner. Mechanical Condition: Mechanically this car is very sound. The transmission shifts smooth and strong in all gears with no slippage. The engine in this car performs beautifully with nice power and torque. There are no oil leaks or other fluid leaks. There are no leaks in the exhaust and it is smooth running at all speeds. The alignment is true with no pulling during braking. The brakes are strong and have recently been rebuilt with new calipers and brake booster. The tires are Michelins and are in great shape with about 80% tread life remaining. This car has many years of trouble free motoring to come. Vegetable Oil Conversion: The conversion is based on a 2 micron filter/water separator that has a top loaded 100 watt heating element that automatically turns on when temperatures fall below 60F and turns off when the oil reaches 85F. This insures that the veg oil will flow through your filter no matter how cold it gets outside. The final heat stage comes from injector line heaters that get the fuel nice and hot quickly. These heaters will get the fuel to 170F within 3 minutes and if you turn them on before you start the car you will be insuring that hot oil is reaching the injectors right away. This will insure easy starts, even on cold mornings and also insure proper and complete burning of the oil which is critical for the health of your engine. This is considered a temperate climate single tank conversion designed for Southern California. To answer another question that has come up; the vacuum system is in great shape with all door locks, trunk and gas cap locking and unlocking with a turn of the drivers door key. And this is the case even if the car sits for a week - there are no vacuum leaks. There is also a factory installed block heater on the engine that I forgot to mention. Unfortunately both of those services don't have reports for vehicles prior to 1981 when the vins were 14 numbers instead of the now standard 17 numbers.
