1977 Honda CB

1977 Honda CB400F Super Sport. 9640 Original miles. I have to part with my 1977 Honda CB400F Super Sport. It is all original and has less than 9700 miles on her. I've looked into the serial number on this bike, if it is what I believe is correct, looks like she is the 45th bike of the line in 77. Which is the last year made. This is what I've done for her: New tires. New tubes. New rubber rim strips. New plugs. New NGK spark plug caps. Rebuilt front brake caliper. Complete carb rebuild. Air filer. Oil and oil filter. OEM Honda brake pads rear. OEM Honda throttle cable. Points and condensers. Cleaned fuel tap. Cleaned overall. Extra oil filters. New battery. The good: Original paint(Parakeet Yellow) No dents in tank. Mint inside tank, no rust. No rips in original seat. No rust on seat pan. Side cover mint with no cracks. Beautiful chrome. No pitting. Original exhaust. No cuts in electrical wiring. It still has the original grips! The bad: Has slight hesitation at speed. Carbs might need to be set up better. Small hole in exhaust collector box underneath. Small scrapes underneath exhaust. Not noticeable from above. The starter button needs attention. It works great but the plastic that holds the assembly together has age cracked. I have had an after market push button placed on the right handle bar for the starter. Works great. She is definitely a nice bike and I didn't think I would part with her anytime soon. She is in great shape. She is a 33 year old motorcycle that is used, but is a very nice example. I have seen these models go for up to $3000 plus on E-bay. They even have higher miles. They are quite the cult bike now. Knowing that, I didn't hesitate to buy her.
