Vehicle Detail
NEW ONE OF A KIND CUSTOM TRIUMPH CHOP "NO RESERVE" What you’re looking at is a super kool custom hardtail Triumph chop. It has a raw metal finish with clear coat. The frame is new from British Cycle Supply and has a serial number from a 1969 Triumph T100C with title included. It has a T140 Triumph 750cc motor from a 1979 Bonneville. It has been completely rebuilt using parts again from British Cycle Supply. New crank bearings, connecting rod bearings, oil pump, gaskets, etc were installed. Brand new (not rebuilds) Amal 932 carbs with awesome custom velocity stacks from Maund were installed. The bike has a brand new Joe Hunt magneto for the ignition. It’s absolutely the simplest and best looking ignition system………every bike should have one of these!!! For the charging system, the bike has a new Sparx rectifier with ‘Battery Eliminator’. It runs the lights without a battery and is the simplest way to go. Very clean and cool looking. The front end is a new springer type with chrome springs and top triple tree. It has stainless steel chains for fork stops. The front wheel is a brand new 21” spool type from Bob’s Cycle Supply. For those that don’t know, Bob makes these wheel himself and the quality is second to none. The front wheel spacers are ribbed brass pieces that just add to the overall cool stance of this bike. The front tire is a new knobby DOT tire. The rear wheel is from a 69 Triumph Bonneville and has new brake shoes installed in the drum. The drum was drilled for cooling and a unique look as you can see in the pictures. It is operated with the right side hand lever. All cables (brake, throttle, and clutch) are new. The foot peg rubbers and shift peg rubber are a unique white set from England, and match the white hand grips. The seat is a very cool custom piece with coarse gold metal-flake vinyl that matches the gold flake number “66” on the gas tank. The seat hinge is a Biltwell stainless piece and is the highest quality seat hinge on the market. The gas tank is an old English Wassel tank with custom fuel shut-off and gas gauge. Like any old school triumph custom, you had better know how to turn a wrench to operate one. They are finicky, and temperamental, but a ton of fun to run and arguably the coolest looking ones on the road. This one is no exception. If you have any questions, let me know, and be sure to check out my 100% positive feedback. You’ll see I’m easy to deal with.
