Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very nice example of a 1973 CB 500. As seen in the pictures the bike is in very good condition with only one small ding in the right front of the tank (bareley noticiable) and one very small ding in the front fender (easy fix). The bike is all originanal other than the mufflers and the Goodyear Eagles which are in decent condition for their age. This bike had sat in a garage for many years and was purchased from the original owner. The carbs were cleaned three years ago but need to be gone totaly through. The bike ran fine three years ago and was started this year but seemed to run rough, however it was only ran around the block and was not totaly warmed up. I purchased this bike from the original owner who just happened to be the inventor of "Girley Pads" after market floor boards from the early seventies. I have all original documents from this bike including original bill of sale from Honda of Ann Arbor, The recall notice for the gas cap, sales brochours and the original "A" title plus many more receipts. The last time the bike was rode all lights, gauges, switches, brakes worked fine. One other detail, the ding in the tank was caused by the bike being layed down which caused the fork stop to break. When purchased this was not noticed as the ding is very small and barley noticable in photo. Good luck bidding
