Vehicle Detail

Amazing one owner all original 91 Dodge with 12 valve 1st generation Cummins diesel. Someone is going to love this truck. Here are some specifics. You may also call me for more details at the number below. I will not be ending the auction early so as to give everyone a fair chance at this beautiful truck. You will also find more pictures at this link: http://s1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb386/bakermills1/1991%20Dodge%20Pick%20up/ You will find a video at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSL57H4pRnk You'll see that this is a one owner truck (see photo of the original title that is in my possession). Since I am not a licensed dealer, if you are in a state that requires the title be in the seller's name, I will title the truck in my name and then send you the title from me. If you are in a state where an individual can purchase a vehicle and sell it on without titling in the seller's name, I will send you the original title. This is a rare find. The truck has 79,850 original miles. It's not likely but possible that it will have 80,000 on it when it gets shipped. The truck is all original. The paint is original as well with the exception of right by the doors where it says LE, it looks like someone tried to spray a little bit of paint there, and it almost looks like it was hand sprayed with a spray paint can. The rest of the paint is original. It runs great, has great compression, a good set of Michelin tires (although one has some cracking beginning), with a clean straight body. There is one very small ding up by the front right blinker light on the bottom of the fender. That is the only ding I know of. The truck is mostly rust free, although there are a few places with minor rust. The first is a small amount of very minor surface rust on the front left fendor. The second is a small amount of rust starting inside of the tailgate jam. The third is some rust starting on the gutter/rail that is above the windshield. The fourth is a spot of rust on the front right fender just in front of the rocker panel. I have shown the truck to a few body shops because my original intent was to repaint the truck (but then decided to sell it in its original state). They were all extremely impressed at how great of shape the body is in on the truck. I had the truck inspected by Gillette Diesel here in Salt Lake City, who found that the truck is great shape and is running great. They suggested that I replace the front left tie-rod, which I did. They also said to replace the rear u-joint which I did. They adjusted the idle, which they said was slightly low. They suggested that the transmission be serviced by next spring and said that the fluid was starting to smell slightly burned. The only other things I know of that are wrong with the truck are that the cruise control isn't working, and the seals by the small swing windows are bad, causing air noise on the freeway. The truck obviously needs a paint job, but very little body work, and will be a great restoration for someone. It has always had a bedliner. 4x4 works, both windows and door locks work. It has a Gear Vendor overdrive system, which allows it to drive on the freeway comfortably at 70-75. The AC blows cold but on a really hot day, not as cold as it could be. It could use a recharge but still works well. The original owner was a smoker, although there is no smell of smoke in the truck. However, there are a few small cigarette burns on the seat. With a paint job this truck will be incredible. Bid with confidence. Let me know if you need more info about this truck. Call me (Joel) if you'd like to. 801-598-0766. About me: I am a truck hobbyist, but not a full-time dealer. For over 18 years, my hobby has been dealing with older unique trucks and 4x4s. Most of them I sell locally but with really unique and rare ones I occasionally sell them on ebay. I can help arrange shipping if needed.
