Vehicle Detail
My cousin just got this car a few weeks ago to trade me for one of my other cars. I did, and have decided to sell the car instead of keeping it. This is a 1970 Dodge Challenger that was a factory sleeper, a factory 383 big block car but not a R/T. with auto, P/S, non A/C, drum brakes. The car was media blasted, new quarter panel installed, reproduction R/T hood, new trunk pans installed, floor pan patch installed, the car is rust free, straight and ready for paint inside and out. all body lines match up very well and are gapped evenly. there is two small dents/dings that i would address when the car was painted the color of your choice. one ding on driver front fender and one ding on pass rear quarter. front and rear suspension was removed painted black and installed back in car. have new carpete, nice door panel F&R, nice front bucket seats and rear seats. dash is in good condition, dash pad is not. I have new dash cap. a T/A rear spoiler. all wires are in great condition. dash wires are ready to plug back in dash. The car is missing all glass except rear quarters, and needs headlite bezals, drivers rear taillite, and some of the chrome window trim, hood and trunk trim, motor and trans. This is a great project that you dont find that often with all the hard work done for you.I should keep this car, and believe this will only be offered for sale this once, so don't let it get away On Oct-27-10 at 23:28:50 PDT, seller added the following information: This is the only rust free 70 challenger project for less then 10K to be found currently on ebay. this car has so much potential to biuld in any direction. I have a 70 HP 440 block available, and i have a 383 but it's a 67 block. i can make a deal with winning bidder if the car sells. I will not relist the car in this condition after auction ends, i am going to let this auction finish to be fair those with current interest, good luck and happy bidding On Oct-28-10 at 21:00:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had questions, to why i listed car for sale and now am cool with keeping the car, It's simple. I was after a hemi for my 68 r/t 4 speed clone. I got the HEMI. and do need the cash so bad now. Both of my auctions, this very solid 70 challenger, or the solid 68 barracuda, will sell to highest bidder if reserve is met.
