5 Day Auction With No Reserve - Sold To The Highest Bidder A True California 65' Mustang Factory GT Coupe 289ci "A" Code. Remained in Los Angeles it's entire life with it's original California Black & Yellow plate's. Had the same owner since the last 20 year's. Restored in the late 90's, driven thru the High School year's and kept it in the garage hidden away for the last year's. Painted in it's rare factory color combination - Caspian Blue with Blue Pony Deluxe interior. Beautiful & most important original floors / undercarriage. Original quarther's remain still in place. Overall, the paint is in great shape but has chip's and minor flaw's. It show's it was a driver at one point. The interior is in really good shape for it's age. Factory Deluxe interior is original. Has no ugly aftermarket speaker hole's drilled in the door's. The stock radio has been upgraded to a later model radio that fit's in the correct spot. The dash pad has a crack a bit warped. The interior is clean & complete. Has a built 289ci dyno at 300HP to be a driver. Factory Disc Brake's & power steering. Has a Edelbrock intake & carburetor. Mallory ignition was a great upgrade. Sound's really good & has some quick pick up. Ford Racing Valve cover's match the look. Also, has a vintage Suntoon mini tach under the dash. A brand new set of 14 x6 American Racing Torque Thrust D', not even 20 mile's on them. Gas gauge does not work. Mile's show 62k but Im sure it has turned over once. This is really a great cruiser that can be driven. Would really make a great driver for someone. Overall - not another clone or a replica that you're use to seeing. This is a Factory & True 65' GT Coupe, A Born Southern California Mustang that spent it's entire life in the Golden state.
