Vehicle Detail
This is a running, driving, stopping car. It is a project I started on but have since moved on to something else. I had plans to make it a full custom reminiscent of the early 1960's. This is a nice car but definitely needs a lot of attention. 472 Cadillac engine: (previous owner installed in place of the original 390c.i.)-it is starting to knock and I fear it may have spun a bearing. Buyer beware. This could be fixed by simply "slapping in a new bearing on the crank and crossing your fingers" or you may have to rebuild the whole thing. And let me tell you, the 472 is expensive to rebuild. Or, you could always just install something cheaper like a Chevy 350. FYI TH400 S/P Trans: works great but leaking fluid. No worries. These things will be here long after we are all gone. The are virtually indestructible. They're like the cockaroach of auto parts. Misc: New Coker Wide White Walls, powdercoated wheels, has rust (some spots are bad, others not so bad), needs paint, roof is in gray primer (the 2-tone looks awesome), floor boards were rusted out so I cut them out, painted with rust inhibitor, patched with new sheet metal (pop riveted in) and fiberglassed over, new carpet, has some dents and dings, driver side window is cracked pretty good, small crack on rear passenger glass, custom tall gear shifter, disc brake conversion (done by previous owner), has a bench seat out of a hearse in the front (non matching), white and black interior, most (if not all) of stainless trim pieces, may need new brake booster or pedal linkage (can be hard to stop), rearend is from a mid to lat 1990's Suburban (previous owner installed), lowered in rear by cuttin out 2 coils from rear springs, power windows work but are wired up wrong and motors are getting very weak, needs some electrical wiring/re-wiring, probably some extras too. I've tried to list everything I can (both good and bad). I will answer an questions and will add any other info as I think of it (if I left anything out). I want the buyer to know EXACTLY what they are getting. And of course, all sales are final. PERIOD.
