1968 Datsun Roadster.This is a fantasic looking car from 10 feet, It has a 2000cc OHC motor with twin SU's. 5 Speed trans. Pertronix ignition with flame thrower coil. The top is like new, the interior is original and very good... carpets are just okay. The dash has has a couple of cracks. There is a dash pad that comes with the car, Steering wheel is like new. 3" wide latch belts are in the car but the original 2" also go with it. period correct adjustable Koni shocks on all four corners new front brake pads, new stainless brake hoses. New wheels and tires. (5 stock steel whell with hub caps go with the car) The front wheels needed a 1/4" spacer for clearance of the brake disc calipur thus longer front studs were also added. 160 MPH speed 0. works fine. Odometer quit working a couple of months ago. The tack and all other gauges work as they should. Car has good oil pressure and runs cool even in summer heat. Misc rubber bummers, and weather stripping have been replaced over the last year.New mechanical fuel pump added this summer. This is a fun little roadster to drive, handles well, brakes work better than new, the car has never failed to start or left me stranded. The car was caught in a hail storm last year leaving small sents. They are hard to see under most light but very visable under the correct light. The pictures do not pick them up, but they are there. This car was sold new in souther New Mexico and slowely made its way to Colorado. There is little or no rust on the car. The side windows roll up and down as new. A starter button was added because the ignition switch is a pain for my wife to push in to engage the starter. The ignition switch is fine and can easily return to stock. The car does not smoke and gets very good gas milage. It has a small valve cover leak that has driven me a little nuts trying to fix. I will consider a trade for a motorcycle. Even and older BMW R90/6 or Moto Guzzi 850 ambassidor of that time frame. Other bikes will be considered they need to have a seat height under 28"
