Vehicle Detail
This TR3A has undergone a DIY frame off restoration and is ready for someone to tinker with and make themself a very nice driver Triumph. The frame and body are in very good condition the paint is about 6 of 10, the interior is custom and looks quite nice. This car has a overdrive transmission, and a new high torque starter, battery, new tierod ends and ball joints, and 5 new tires. The pictures tell most of the story but I'll tell the rest if I can. This car needs to have the carbs tuned or maybe overhauled due to it running a little rough, I checked the compressions and they are 150+psi across all cylinders, oil pressure is good @ 60 LBS hot running and 25 at idle. No overheating but I've driven it very little. The clutch and brakes work well, it needs a new parking brake cable due to a broken one and a front end alignment because that was never done after the replacement of the front end components. Steering is TR3 what can I say? Carpet and interior are new, a couple of the gauges are incorrect but I will furnish rebuildable cores should you want to change them out. I've driven the car around back roads close by and I can see it will make a really fun car with just a little effort. The body work and paint are as I said DIY but it's really not a bad looking little car. This is a very simple TR3A project, no paint, rust removal, engine work or taking apart and putting back together 5 years down the road if ever, just drive it a little and work on it a little till it's how you want it. There's no top but I will include a top frame and a set of really old side curtains and attachments that are not currently on the car. I bought it to finish and drive but I've changed my mind so come and get it for far less than you could build it for. I'll answer any and all questions as honestly as I can I want you happy if you buy it. I forgot to mention a couple of things : All lights and gauges work, the turn signal switch has been relocated to the dash along with the O/D switch All the wiring was replaced during the restoration. The frame and underside of the car were cleaned and painted while the body was off the car I'm not sure you can tell from the pictures I've posted. The chrome is decent driver quality some of it is new and some is old, the rear overriders are used looking as is one of the W/S stanctions not bad but not new. Ricky 540-580-7528 There are a couple of holes in bottom of the Battery box that could be repaired or ignored depending on the new owners wishes. I can send pictures of the area if you send me an email address. Parts alone for the restoration work on this car cost over $9000.00. NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!!!
