Vehicle Detail

1965 Ford F100 Styleside shortbed Classic all original , Super Easy Restore, Runs Great, NO SMOG, Registered legal driver with all fees paid, With very little work you could drive it anywhere. The straight 6 and three speed tranny both seem very sound although there is a vibration at about 55 mph (think the damper may need replaced it looks tattered but it could also need ujoints but either way it’s an easy fix if you want to drive it any real distance ). This Truck has a classic low book of $6500 and a high Book of $21,000.00 according to classiccars.com .. I got the truck about 2 months ago, and with very little work ( lube, oil, filter, plugs, points and carb cleaner) I had it running great in no time. There was rust in the gas so I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned out the gas tank and installed a new rebuilt Carb. I had the wheels and tires lying around so I put them on, but the original wheels go with it also, only have one hub cap sorry. The Body has only minor dings and scrapes there is virtually no rust and there is only surface rust on the under carriage. The floor pan is excellent with the original mat . The bed is missing the wooden slats but the hardware is all there ( see pic’s) there is an old piece of ply in the bed for temp. use. The seat is usable, I wrapped the back with duck cloth and the bottom is sound but showing it’s age. There was a lot of rust in the cooling system and the radiator was in real bad shape so I replaced the old rusty water pump with a new one and found a great radiator that I adapted to fit ( can’t tell it from the original ) the head, tail and break lights work but I haven’t had time to trouble shoot the blinkers or wipers should be simple fixes. I believe this truck to be a sound Great running vehicle and have told the absolute truth as I believe it to be, I take great care to protect my feedback rating and would not misrepresent anything. With that said I am selling this truck as is where is with no guarantee or warrantee expressed or implied. A $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction through PayPal. The balance is due buy cashiers check NOT PAYPAL within 10 days of the end of the auction and the truck must be picked up within 30 days, I will try to work with the buyer if other pickup arrangements are needed. Ps. I really wanted to restore this for myself but need money desperately so here’s a great moneymaker for someone . Thanks for looking and good luck bidding , bcote
