This is a 73 standard bettle (not a super bettle) that has been turned into a baja. It has a fiberglass hod and fenders with tube bumpers. The rear tires are BFG all terrans with 60 percent tread left on them the fronts have about 85 percent on them. I have ownd the car for about 6 years during this time it was my daily driver. The engine from what I can tell is a 1600 AE dual port motor that runs good. The eng has had a new generator along with a voltage regulator put on it 6 years ago as well as the fuel pump. The carb is a pict 34 that was new about 2 years ago. the exhaust is a empi stinger with baffle and header set up for the heater boxes. I have a brand new chrome stinger in the box for it. The trans shifts well and dosn't jump out of gear. the CV shafts were new 2 years ago. It also has a short shifter kit to shorten the shifter throw. the rear wheels bearings were new 2 years ago. The brakes were completely redone 6 years ago but last january I did new front hoses master cylinder and all for wheel cylinders. I have brand new ball joints and tie rods that go with the car. The car also comes with 4 extra fenders as well as the front close out panel and rear cowl panel. The front seats are high back buckets they are from a GM car of some type that have seat covers on them. The back seat has been removed an carpeted . The orginal vw speedo is still there but needs a speedo cable.it has a new gas gauge and new sending unit. the only things that dont work are the turn signals I think the sockets are bad and the horn needs a new contact plate the window regulators are striped but the windows are up. The The body is fairly clean there is some surface rust around the hod, the drivers door skin has a hole @ the front I patched the inner door with a patch from cip1. The pans are good overall but the passanger side rear pan were the battery sits is bad I have a rear pan patch from cip1 that goes with the car. Like I said this is was my daily driver for 6 years winter and summer it was always reliable and a blast to drive. I have to many other irons in the fire and this one needs to go. This car will start and drive but is not plated can't be driven home
