Description New!! Installed within the last week: Clutch, Starter, Brake Pads, Tires, cap & rotor, spark plugs, alternator & Freshly painted front end (after pictures taken) so there will be no scuffs or nicks on the front end and lip spoiler. The car was purchased used in Miami with no pervious accidents and in very good condition. It was sent to the body shop and repainted, and some of the door moldings were shaved and filled and a Type R rear wing spoiler was added along with 2001 Type R front and rear bumper with the lights. As well as the interior. It was originally a stock 1994 Integra RS which was stripped and rebuilt as a red 2001 Type R and then further modified. It has about 20,000 miles on the fully built and blueprinted engine. The car is running on Avgas 110 octane due to the high compression pistons (that can be changed via tuning using the hondata to regular fuel or even e-85 flex fuel). The car still has the A/C and power steering making 191 hp to the wheels which may also be removed (just the belts) for even better performance (200 hp to the wheels) and more responsive steering, for road racing for example. The car is set up to be on the edge of street/race car. It is very fast and handles and stops like a bear. It took about two years to build this car from beginning to end, ALL WORK WAS DONE BY MIKE A MASTER HONDA TECH AT MCA MOTORS OF MIAMI FL, HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS WORKED ON THE PROJECT FROM BEGINNING TO END. This car has NOT been touched or worked on by any other person! Guaranteed!!!! The first thing that had to be done was to find a mechanic to execute the whole project, top to bottom. Therefore, the best and most qualified mechanic was searched for in South Florida. After going to every machine shop, speed shop, mechanic, and fabricator, that could be contacted and visited personally; it was decided to go with MCA Motorsports of Miami, Florida. A very well known Honda Acura specialist. As soon as the place was seen, met the owner-mechanic, and saw his work, it was undoubtedly known that this was the place to go. He had a hand full of Integra Type R’s out front and inside he was working on two NSX’s. Therefore, he was more than qualified to work on this car. With that said looking around for a while and never having found anything that made enough power in respects to bolt-ons. At this point, the motor had to be redone. A B18C Integra Lower Unit (1.8L GS-R block) was bought as a new and better building block since the motor had to be rebuilt anyway. A JDM LS Crank was balanced and bought resulting in a stroker motor and the engine is now a 2.0 liter monster. Crower rods and JE custom high compression pistons were added along with a block guard to make the block strong. A stock NEW in the box Type R head had a 3-angle valve job and was further ported and polished on a flow bench by Brads Performance in Miami, Fl. Fitted with Mugen Valve Springs Titanium retainers and Civic Type R intake cam with an Integra Type R exhaust cam. Then it was mated to an Integra type r intake manifold with a Hondata gasket, a 65 mm JG Edelbrock throttle body coupled by a custom thermal separator and a carbon fiber MUGEN air box. The whole Mugen Exhaust headers to tip was installed and switched the stock tranny for a New in the box Type R tranny with a GS-R 5th gear (better on the high way) and a limited slip differential mated to a Mugen three puck racing clutch and Exedy light ( 9 lbs)flywheel. I then decided to get the five-lug type r conversion with BIG brakes, the diameter of the roters are slightly larger and way thicker than the stock Integra Type R but they still barely fit in the stock Type R wheels along with TWIN PISTON BRAKE CALIPERS off of an older acura model which weighs twice as much as the Integra , stainless steel brake lines, and hawk racing pads topped off the BIG brake conversion ALL BRAKE COMPONENTS WERE PURCHASED NEW!!1. The car stops like a monster (pads squeak sometimes, but its normal). As for the suspension only the best parts were employed all OEM parts used were bought New not used. Koni yellow rebuild-able shocks with ground control coil over springs covered the up and downs. While Mugen strut bars and Comptech solid rear sway bar along with OEM Type R trailing arms take care of the side to side. Once that was handled all that was needed was tuning. That was left up to MCA Motorsports. MCA tuned the P28 computer and a S200 Hondata with data logging . With the modifications done to the car, because the longer stroke of the bigger block, head work, throttle body, intake manifold, cams, and exhaust all consumed a lot more air than a stock B18. you can rev out to all you want 9200 RPM!! IT'S BUILT FOR IT! It does it effortlessly over and over again. The car is reliable always starts right up and idles like stock. It has a very clean never-ending power band from 2000rpm all the way through 9000rpm, it just keeps going. With the gearing that the car has it would top out at about 160 mph (@ 9000 rpm) effortlessly which the car has never gone, the fastest it has gone is in the 150s, which is hard to determine since the speedometer only reaches 140mph and after that, it’s just a guess. Nothing but high-quality parts and no expense spared in the quest of having a VERY RELIABLE, safe, very fast and discretely & tastefully styled import. Alot of thought, time and MONEY has been put into the project not to mention lots of love in order to get the desired results, which is what you will be buying and paying for. This unique car was done correctly with no short cuts or half-assed measures taken. Every thing has been professionally installed and built. The car comes with kummoh V700 victoracer road course competion tires which are very sticky and great handling tires, but they come with very little tread (street slicks). I suggest riding the V700 because the tires grip the best because of the power output any other street tire won't last and won't grip (the car just spins the tires). The car hasn’t been to the track but it has raced fast cars that have been to the track. m3s , Porsches, various Mercedes amg’s, mustangs, Mitsubishi EVO, Subaru wrx‘s and other fast cars. This car is not a toy it is a very fast car and should be treated as such. The motor is FULLY BUILT so it is ready for a turbo or vortech forced induction kit or even some nitrous, all thats needed is the kit and very few changes like injectors, tuning and a few gauges.
