The car was very well maintained over the years and shows very well. The car features a great running 1600cc engine and the 3 speed “Auto Stick” transmission. The Auto Stick is just like a manual 4 speed transmission, but it doesn’t have a clutch and only has 3 speeds. You just shift into gear and go! No clutch to push and it’s so easy to drive my 6 year old could do it! All the rubber on the car is very nice. The paint is nice and shiny! The tires are fair and have lots of tread left. The car is very solid and has very little to no rust. The interior is also very nice and only shows minor wear and tear for a 37 year old vehicle. This VW runs very good and is ready to go anywhere your heart desires! Fly in and drive it home or we can arrange shipment to your door. If you are looking for a very clean, original, reliable and fun VW for the whole family than this is the VW for you. Please do not assume that this is a 100% show quality museum piece it is not. Although it probably would win in any VW show and shine! And it is very nice through out. It has been used for the purpose it was made for (daily driving) The interior is very nice and in better than average condition for the age of the vehicle. The back seat shows minor. Please remember that this is a 37 year old vehicle and you can not expect it to be perfect. It might need little things fixed or repaired here and there. Look at all the pics judge for your self! This is a very nice old VW Beetle in running and driving condition with many more years of adventure left in it. This is an older vehicle and it is not new, it was used and driven daily. You can expect minor imperfections and normal wear and tear such as dirt, chips, dings, scratches, fading, rust, ECT. I strongly encourage buyers to come and inspect the vehicle in person or call me on the phone to ask questions. I will try to the best of my ability to answer all questions that might be asked.
