This is my father's 1978 Dodge Diplomat sedan, slant 6, automatic trans. He claimed to coax over 20mpg with it. Garage kept its entire life, no rust and what appears to be original paint bar a touch-up or two. Factory AM/FM and no A/C. My father liked it simple. My father was ill in his last years and mostly stopped driving. He registered the car antique but it was otherwise serviced, run and started periodically through his final days. He stored it in my garage. He passed away in February. My father was not the original owner. The original owner was an older couple from Germansville. They bought it from Nothstein Bros. Dodge in Trexlertown. Price new was $5522.85. They got $822.85 for their trade, a 1965 Plymouth. I know this because we have the pink slip. As far as I know, the Diplomat needs nothing. It drives like new. Odometer shows 16K, which is known to be 116K, but you'd not tell by looking at it. There is no rust and minimal wear in the interior. All tires are very good. Brakes are hard. Runs very quiet. I'd have no hesitation in driving it to California. Selling here for no reserve. Clear title in my own name. Otherwise as is, where is. Please email for an appointment to see it.
