Up for auction is this very cool and rare 1966 AMC Marlin. It runs and drives nice. Has good brakes. It's a 6-cylinder automatic that gets about 23 mpg. Has AMC rally rims. The interior is in good shape. Has newer 235 tires. The color of the color is a darker green than the picture shows. It's like a 1957 Chevy Belaire green,its green not blue or aqua. It does need minor work. It needs a wiper motor and a heater fan motor. The heater works but the fan does not. It's an easy fix then can be a daily driver in all weather. Being a 45 year old car, the Marlin is being sold as is. It's quite a head turner. It has a good exhaust. It runs and drives down the road straight. Not a show car,but a fun daily driver! Everyone wanted pics of under the car so I posted the Marlin on Akron/Canton Ohio Craigs List in the car section. You can see both front floor pans were replaced and welded in! Frame rails solid! The Marlin is not perfect, it's a 45 year old daily driver sold as is. I did however find out that it is leaking oil. It does not apear to be bad, just letting you know. So I have made a choice to drop my reserve and buy it now. So high bidder wins this Marlin. Again, this Marlin runs ,drives nice and stright down the road, stops fine.This is a daily driver that needs a little tlc that I disclosed in this ad, and in the ? box. Some other ??s were how is the chrome around windows and mirrors? They are pitted, they shine but pitted. It's had body work. How much? I do not know. Car was in primer befor paint. It's a very cool and rare car on the road today. Painted this summer in enamal. Car was never buffed out because it looks good, not a $2000 job, more like a $600 job.
