This Ford Taurus is in beautiful shape. It was driving by my wife and she demanded it be stored in door next to the vet during the winter leaving my 2006 Expedition out in the cold. This car is extremely reliable as it gets. I would easily put my wife and our 2 young boys in this and send them cross country knowing the car was going to get them there. If you're like me you get nervous buying a used car off line or ebay because of the hidden issues. I welcome anyone to come drive this car or take it to a shop to have it looked at any time. I can assure you this is one car you will drive away feeling comfortable knowing you are not going to find hidden issues. It drives awesome. You just will not find another car this dependable or looks this good with so few miles driven per year. It does have little marks and scratches that don't really show up in pics but they are there. No accidents ever for this one. A few door dings where people just don't pay attention. Another plus with this car is it has the best engine. Not the standard V6. But, this is still an awesome deal and car. If you have any hesittation at all feel free to come take it for a drive. For those that ask why am I selling, well..........it's my sixth car and my wife just got a new car. Very similar to this one in fact. When I was out looking at cars for my wife she really loved the Taurus and would have no other car. I went down the street to the local ford dealer and my wife and I checked out the new Ford Taurus back in January 2005. The doors were light and the car seemed more simple and kinda cheap. I was surprised and asked the dealer why it did not seem to have the quality and was told that the Taurus is being used as a fleet vehicle so a lot of the qaulity was being taken out. He informed me that the change took place in 2000. I started doing research as I am sure you have and found that 2000 was indeed when they changed things over and further carfax checks did show the cars being used as fleet vehicles (rentals). We all know rentals are not cared about by the people who drive them. So, we decided to find a 1999 with good miles. It took a month but we found one 250 miles away and it was very worth it. The car DEFINITELY has a more solid feel and a much better ride. If you take a new taurus for a ride and then take this for a ride you would feel the difference. And by the way, this car has had no issues besides changing brakes last year.
