Heres a 1968 convertible with a small block,header,edelbrock intake/carb,power glide, 10 bolt rearend. It needs to be restored and its not that bad of a car to start with. Car runs and drives and looks good from 10ft. Theres is bondo in the doors,lower lower quarters,fenders....floors are have some holes.All the glass is there except the rear window and the windshield is new.Bumpers are good for a driver. interior is all there and good for a driver.Chrome around windshield is good.Rag top is missing but the frame is good and moves freely,cover is new. power steering,power brakes (previous own said he removed the disc up front and replaced with drums..why??) Engine is not original and said to be a 350cid. it does not smoke or knock and runs good (the starter could use a shim). tag numbers 05c 68-12467 NOR171317 712 R2 engine # V1025CDJ rearend # BP 062562 One can see what could be the original SS stripe around the front under the white paint. All the body panels are red under the one coat of single stage white.Theres is also bondo filling the engine emblem holes in the fenders in the same area 9as seen looking from under the hood). It might be a real 68 SS convertible??
