Vehicle Detail

Up for auction I have a real nice 1947 WDX Power Wagon. This Power Wagon originally came from California and at one time was used by a dealership in Southern California(San Fernando Valley). There is a picture that I have included, of a decal that was found inside the cab of the dealership. As you can see in the pictures, there has been a lot of work put into it, including time and thousands of dollars. These are some of the items that are new or rebuilt: winch cable, brakes shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, all new brake lines, fuel lines, fuel pump, hoses, plugs, belt, wiring, glass, paint, lights, interior, locking hubs, shocks, mirror(s), water pump, starter, horn, and much more! The frame and most of the parts were torn down and blasted, then painted. Also, all four drums were professionally turned. The truck runs good, except it still needs some carburetor work(I purchased the engine several years ago asn was told it was overhauled, it is an original T-137 Power Wagon engine). There are some dents on the passenger side, cab, as well as the door. The rest of the truck has excellent sheet metal with no rust. The driver side is perfect. Everything works on this truck, including the lights, horn, window wiper, and of course the brakes. I am including with it all the brackets that are needed if you decide to put running boards back on the truck. The original gas tank is in excellent shape and was cleaned and inspected for any leaks. There are no dents of corrosion. The third member has 5.83 gears that are brand new. The tires are old, but can still be used. I would recommend new tires if it is driven a long period of time. The truck has a clear title in my name. Also my reserve is low, so don't hesitate to bid you might get lucky! Thanks for looking. Please contact me if you have any questions. On Oct-03-10 at 15:20:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention, the truck has a new exhaust and the frame is in excellent shape with no pitting, rust, welds, or after market holes drilled into the frame. Only existing factory drilled holes were used to mount the flat bed. I was planning on making this an old fashion wrecker from the 1940's. I also have available a rare Manley hand crank wrecking crane from the 1930's-1940's if you are interested(very unique).
