THIS ST1100 WAS NOT WRECKED / POSSIBLY NOT EVEN TIPPED OVER - IT WAS RAN INTO AT THE RIGHT SADDLEBAG !!!!! we only replaced right muffler and right footpeg bracket with a pre owned one from e bay . notice right muffler is spaced a little farther out from bike than left muffler but it is securely mounted and functions as expected . bags are quickly/easily removable and pre owned one on e bay for $150 or so . Or leave bags off and ride as is or ride with one bag when occasional storage needed . Will also need small bag bracket if install right bag . No oil or coolant leaks , bike is mechanically sound . No fork seal leaks . Brakes and tires are good but r tire is thin . I PERSONALLY OWNED / RODE A 91 ST1100 FOR MANY YEARS IN LATTER 90'S AND KNOW THEM WELL - THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT MOTORCYCLE . RUNS AND RIDES GREAT - CARBS ARE CLEAN-RUNS SMOOTH FROM IDLE UP WITH CHOKE OFF HOT OR COLD . ENGINE /CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION OPERATE CORRECTLY . No mechanical noise from engine , does not smoke , starts immediately , runs strong . We purchased aerosol Honda base coat and final paint color that will go with bike . Whom ever transported bike [ probablt inexperienced tow company as many are not familiar with cycle tie downs ] apparently scuffed paint on right fairing below mirror and spot on left rear saddlebag lid . as this bike is very clean - it is not a show bike. Just take one's time , mask off and repaint a couple spots .
