1996 BMW 328i Convertible - NO RESERVE! I have put about 800 miles on the car so far and it is a solid and fun to drive. I'm currently driving the car every day which gives the sign of a reliable car. The car has approximately 143k and the engine and transmission are in excellent shape. The car starts perfectly, idles like a well oiled machine, does not over heat and runs great (not just good but GREAT). I feel good enough about this car to drive it to and from work while I have it. (70 miles round trip) Bidders outside the San Francisco Bay Area can be confident about driving it back to their home state in its current state. Exterior - The exterior paint is in great shape and is original paint. It does have a scratch on the trunk lid but will buff out as it is not deep and has not looked like it has penetrated deeply. As far as I can tell it has all original body panels. It still has the BMW German stickers on the front body panels. It does have some blemishes and the worst one is on the front grill which I took a close up picture. The grill blemish is the worst but really not that bad. The convertible top looks original and has normal wear. The top is semi automatic but currently disabled. I put the top down manually to get some good pictures of the interior. The rear plastic window is not perfect. I can say that it is clear enough to switch lanes confidently by looking though that window. The power windows work and all seem to have strong motors for going up and down. The wheels are straight as far as I can tell and there are no wobbles or vibration at high or low speeds. All lights work from quick test I performed. Interior - Normal wear and tear but also impressively good for the age. No major rips, holes or stains and looks all complete. All doors, latches, handles work as they should. The car has power door locks and (2) wireless remotes. Only one key provided. Summary - There are so many great qualities about this car but the one that stands out the most is the reliability and comfort it has displayed to me in the last 800 miles. It is fast and peppy but yet easy to drive. This body style is actually my favorite and you will turn heads. The car will benefit from a new top but not needed as the current one look fine to me.
