This is a PROJECT 1964 356 convertible, comes with a clean California title. It has a shortened 1971 VW floor pan with reinforced frame build for a speedster. The rear panel is fiberglass from a kit speedster. The body and doors are all steel. The engine and transmission is for a Karmann Ghia. It comes with a 1964 VW front end suspension, with rear drums and wheels from a 356 (not pictured) It has a 356 hood, headlights and gauges, and a VW steering column. This is not an original convertible, it was a coupe C, and is a chop top. It needs a lot of work and love, but it will be a great looking car once finished. It has the complete speedometer wiring harness, and that is included with the car. The body needs to be bolted to the frame, it is just sitting for now. The rear floor section needs to be built from sheet metal. It is an easy to finish project for a person with the right skills. I lost my storage, and I don't have the time to finish, so it has to go. The price is $4,500 OBO, buyer will need to arrange shipping.
