1966 Dodge 100 Town panel wagon. This truck was owned by a very good friend of mine who had a wood floor business since the 1960's. It has a clear and clean title. He used it as his daily delivery and installation truck until 2002, at which time he relocated here to Iowa from minnesota and bought a farm. He then only used the truck for parades. He sold this truck to me due to health reasons and I am selling it as I collect 1930- 1940 vintage cars and this wouldn't fit my collection. according to my local mechanic, the previous owner had installed a Chevrolet (corvette) 350 v8 (1971 or older vintage rebuilt) engine. The engine has headers, a eddelbrock Highrise, Holly carb, and camel bumped heads. This Dodge has a quick silver B&M Ratchet quick silver shifter. It has dual exhaust and the guages are custom after market. The day we picked it up and parked it in front of my car lot (not knowing if we were going to sell it or not) people were pulling over and googling and awing over this truck. it is a real show stopper. I drove the truck about 30 miles, I had it up to 60 mph and it goes down the road good. There is a little play in the steering wheel but nothing too crazy. The gas gauge wasn't working, but came up a bit after I put gas in it, but should have came up more so it may be not accurately working. All the other gauges seem to be functioning normally. The brakes are responsive but I did feel the left front grabbing a little more than the right. The windshield washers I couldn't get to work. The headlights worked but I couldn't get the turn signals to work. The interior dash lights work as well as the parking lights. The The tires look good with good tred. The engine runs good. On a cold start, it did take a few minutes to warm up and run smoothly, I had to feather the gas a bit at first, but did smooth out. I assume it is from sitting. There are some minor bubbles starting around the body here and there, I took pictures of any flaws I saw and a video so you can see the accurate condition of this custom dodge. It is definitely a head turner and would make a great parade truck! I put the reserve very low to ensure a sale so only bid if you are serious about buying this dodge!
