1943 Other Makes

VERY LOW RESERVE!!!! Welcome to this unique auction... A World War II ... WELBIKE... seems to be all original.. engine, seat, handlebars, even tires... Please ask any questions you may have... We will do our best to answer all questions.. but we are not motorcycle collectors.. so we will do our best... This is the information from the bike we know it is ENGLISH from ENGLAND wwII military....WELBIKE (folding for use by PARATROOPERS) WEIGHT IS ABOUT 80 or so lbs... We do not know milage... We are not sure of year..from the 40s.. 1942 or 1943 or 1944 or so.... . tried to do some research but really would like to get it to a collector or museum to restore and enjoy using it!!! NUMBER ON SIDE IS: C5153014 EXCELSIOR (sticker still on front) MKII 2214 on front frame.... Engine is a VILLIERS DELUXE JUNIOR... it seems to have compression in it still.. Engine number is B -5764... there is also the NUMBER XXE2454... The tires seem orignal... they say DUNLOP CARRIER UK REG # 792-535.. Trademark (man with beard)... 12 1/2 x 2 1/4.. FITS GIJ RIM 8" diameter... The steering seems good... There are some really cool WELBIKE websites on GOOGLE.. and you can look WIKIPEDIA too... for more info...
