This is a very nice 1966 Mustang Coupe , It has the original 200 6cyl motor with hooker headers feeding dual exhaust and flowmaster mufflers, sounds really nice and has nice power. The single barrel carb.has been replaced with a 2bbl as well. The tranny is a 3 speed manual it is not the original stone crusher,instead a 67 3 speed was installed because it is a syncronized transmission and you dont get that grinding when you shift gears. The paint on the car is very nice it has been wet sanded and buffed to a high gloss,and is the original color of Silver Blue,i would rate it a 7 to 8 out of 10, there is no over spay all over the place either. The car runs and drives very well with no pulls ,wandering or shimmies while going down the road, the brakes are drum brakes but stop very well. The car was restored in 2008 with new paint rebuilt motor and transmission,the underneath was undercoated and looks really good , the torque boxes are straight and there is no rust on this car anywhere as it has lived its whole life in the south.There was the steel plate installed over the gas tank for safety. The interior is new and is the original color blue,all guages,lights,blinkers,A/M radio,speedometer , all work as they should, this car needs nothing just drive and enjoy. all numbers match on the car to the VIN #the tags read, Trim Tag- Body 65A 2dr hardtop, color Y Silver Blue, Trim 22 Lt blue& med blue Rosette vinyl, Date 29A Jan 29 1966, DSO 25 Richmond VA, Axle 3 3.20:1, Trans 1 3 speed manual.
